This brings us to the end of the portfolio. We’ve shared a few laughs, shed a few tears, and overall had a good time. Hearts were broken and dreams were made, but now, it’s time to say goodbye. At first, I wasn’t expecting much, but by seeing how fast class has gone, and by all the work done in the portfolio, I quickly realized how wrong I was. I enjoyed having you as a teacher because you weren’t some crazed grammar-Nazi that I was expecting. Rather than drowning us with methodical rules and regulations, we were put in situations that required us to actually think and learn. Overall, I think it’s been a great experience and through it all, I can honestly say I grew as a writer. For that, I thank you.
