Welcome to my English 1101 portfolio. The theme here is The Walking Dead. Now, you might be asking yourself, "what does the walking dead have to do with literacy, critical thinking, and my growth as a writer?" It doesn't. Now, before you decide to fail me; I justify this perfectly appropriate theme because whenever I wasn't recording a daybook entry, or revising a draft, I'd be watching the walking dead. For me, the two essentially went hand in hand, and together, they reflected what my semester looked like.
In this portfolio, we will go through various daybook entries, process work and drafts done throughout the course of the semester. The purpose of this project is to create a picture of my literacy growth through select exhibits of work. With each entry, reflective pieces are included to serve as my initiation of dialogue with you and to frame my understanding of my work. Enjoy!
